Hello Everyone,
Timing; one of the most over looked things in any relationship. When you rush things it does nothing but seem to complicate things. In my experience when you do things to fast in a relationship, i.e. actually getting into the relationship or even having sex for the first time, it tends to make things awkward and weird for both people involved.
Story time folks, I started talking to my ex-boyfriend around August of 2014, we had met online on a dating app. He was super sweet and made me feel like the best thing in the world. I thought he was the one for me and the rest of my life. After a while of talking and texting we decided to meet. After meeting him we got a hotel together and had planned to spend a few nights together. When we got to the hotel and started to hang out, we of course rushed into having sex. I really didn't think it was appropriate but we were having fun and I thought I would bring us closer, I was young and foolish. During the course of the night together he got weird and very sensitive to anything I said to him. He became very withdrawn and didn't want to talk to me anymore. I began to feel as if I didn't know him at all. While the night progressed, I became uncomfortable eventually ending with me having to call off the time together and bringing him home. After I left him I sat there in my car and cried because I didn't realize at any point what I was getting myself into. I felt stupid for allowing this to happen to myself and be deceived by this random guy I just met.
In conclusion, I hope my story can show you how important timing is in any type of relationship. Use my story as a reminder that we never really know someone until we spend more time with them. Words said over text and phone do not show a persons actual colors. Be safe and take things slow, if its meant to be it will happen.
Have Fun and Post On,
Zach
